Gham-e-Doran ko sada mujh se shikayat hi rahi,

Mere Aalfaaz main dhalti teri soorat hi rahi,

Zehen kehta tha teri shakl bhula kar rakh dun,

Par mere dil ko sada mujh se baghawat hi rahi,

Dushman-e-jan bhi mujhe jan se mehboob raha,

Teri ulfat ki mere dil pe hakomat hi rahi,

Yun to jo chaha zamane me mila mujh ko

Phir bhi aa dekh mujhe teri zaorat hi rahi....
